Same Day As Surgery

Feeling good! As good as can be expected anyway! My surgery lasted 3.5hours in the end & I awake almost immediately in recovery, don't really remember the trip to Special Nursing Unit (SNU), but do remember my jaw hurting & they gave me an injection.

I was on IV and getting blood pressure taken every 30mins or so, and had a heart rate monitor on my finger. I had a nose tube in for suctioning out the blood from my throat - they didn't take that out until Dr K (OS) & Dr S (Anaesthetist) came to check up on me about 6.30pm last night.

Matt, Mum & Dad all visited in the afternoon & mum left after seeing Dr K. They all said I look pretty good considering what I had done.
